Midlothian and East Lothian Drugs and Alcohol Partnership (MELDAP)

Mid Lothian And East Lothian Alcohol and Drug Partnership oversees the development and implementation of an alcohol and drug strategy for Mid and East Lothian. The Partnership produces a directory of help and support that is available in the area.

Support services are provided by a coalition including the Council, NHS Lothian, Police Scotland, and 3rd sector organisations.

MELDAP and its services are committed to the principle of recovery through a person-centred approach with the aim of supporting people achieve their own recovery goals.
